Ohio's new gun law takes effect June 13 which will permit all qualified adults to carry concealed non-restricted firearms without a license. The new law expands the rights of concealed firearm holders and may require you to update some policies. Click here for a great article explaining the new law from the Ohio Chamber.

The Fostoria DORA will officially open on Thursday, June 9 at 4 p.m.

All businesses within the DORA who wish to participate should stop into the Chamber (inside the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St.) to pick up their decal sign, rack cards and cups (if applicable). Please pick up your DORA items between June 6 and June 9 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Fostoria Economic Development & Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce have launched a Podcast, "Shut Up & Listen: Small Town Stories with Sarah & Renee". The podcast features FEDC President, Renee Smith, and Chamber/Small Business Director, Sarah Stephens Krupp, sharing all things Fostoria and inviting special guests to join them in a light hearted conversation.

The podcast can be found on Spotify, Apple and Google. The podcast drops the first and third Wednesday of each month and you can learn more and follow Shut Up & Listen: Small Town Stories on Facebook and Instagram.

The Chamber has begun invoicing for membership via email. Please be sure to add Admin@FostoriaChamber.com to your contacts to ensure you receive your invoices in a timely manner. Invoicing via email allows us to streamline our billing and save money on postage. If you would like to continue to receive your invoices via USPS please let us know. Or if there is a specific email within your company invoices should be sent to, please let us know and we are happy to accommodate.

With nearly 40 vendors already registered, plan to attend the Fostoria Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market on Saturday, June 18^th when we are “Celebrating Dads & Kids”, sponsored by Clouse Construction. There will be giveaways, kids activities and The Ohio State University SNAP-Ed will be on-hand to provide nutrition education. The market is held from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the grass lot at the corner of East Tiffin and South Main Streets. There is still time to register to participate as a vendor at this market.
