National Day of Joy Is June 28!

We created the National Day of Joy because our decades of helping seniors with our unique brand of uplifting in-home care shows us that a daily dose of joy can truly work wonders. No matter how old you are, finding joy in even the simplest everyday moments is scientifically proven to help improve and maintain overall wellness, including physical and mental health. That's worth celebrating, right? We thought so.

A Quarter Century of In-Home Care

Since 1998, Comfort Keepers has changed the lives of thousands of seniors and their families by providing uplifting in-home care that Elevates the Human Spirit. Our mission to help seniors thrive and achieve greater well-being by fostering everyday positive moments, connection, and a more purposeful life, still rings true. We are also pleased to share a video celebrating 25 years of inspiring joy, purpose, and positivity for seniors.

Resources for Seniors & Families

The Comfort Keepers team works with many local organizations and programs that provide services for older adults. One example is the State of Illinois Community Care Program (CCP), which helps senior citizens, who might otherwise need nursing home care, to remain in their own homes by providing in-home and community-based services.

Father's Day Is Sunday, June 18

Father's Day is a holiday honoring one's Father, or relevant father figure, as well as fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Comfort Keepers Are Vets, Too!

Comfort Keepers caregivers who had previously served in the U.S. military were recently the focus of a story on "Military Makeover with Montel".

Talk show legend and military advocate Montel Williams, a veteran of both the Marine Corps and the Navy, leads the Makeover team’s mission of transforming the homes and lives of military families across the country. Click the link to watch these caregivers tell their stories.
