To seek God, and be Christ’s body in the world
Greetings!
PREPARING FOR SUNDAY

If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. - Galatians 5:25

God, you call us to go where Christ leads. Turn us from the ways of the world; guide us to fullness of joy in the Spirit, where bodies and souls rest secure;
and grant us strength to follow the way of the cross,
which frees us to love one another for the sake of all creation. Amen.

Children & Youth
Summertime Sundays

Children and youth continue to explore what it means to care for God's creation. This week we will enjoy ways to care for ourselves. Some possibilities include sports (specifically Tee-ball weather permitting) and assembling fun, healthy snacks. Guests, friends, and family visiting from out of town are all welcome. Please contact Ms. Deb if you would like to participate or have questions.
Bible Study News
July Sessions

Wednesday Night Bible Study sessions return to Christ Church after July 4th. There is no Bible Study on Wednesday, July 3rd. We wish everyone a festive and safe 4th of July.

We will meet at Christ Church for the month of July starting on the 10th at 7:15 p.m. in Ithan Hall. Books are provided, and no prior participation is needed. If you have questions please contact Deb Parker.

If you would like to learn more about Approaching the Gospels, please visit the website or Facebook page.
All Levels Yoga Class
Breathe, stretch, and destress!

The next St. Martin’s yoga class will be July 9th, at 6:30 p.m in the Gurley Room. Enjoy this opportunity to indulge in some self-care. It's a great mind-body-soul experience!
Gryphon Cafe
A Midweek Gathering

The upstairs room at the Gryphon Cafe where we hold this program is very hot and stuffy on 90+ degree days. Also, attendance has dwindled in these summer months. So, we will not conduct any Upper Room sessions during the months of July and August. We will return in September. Stay tuned for more stimulating topics for our community conversations. See you then.
Socks for the Homeless
Making a Difference

Our collection of white socks for the Joy of Sox organization is an ongoing effort. The basket for drop-offs is located in the downstairs lobby of church. Please contact Carlie Hutton if you have any questions about this project. Thanks for your support!
