More June Holidays!

This past week Beverly and I spent a few days back at Huttopia Wine Country. The place is gorgeous and the people and the amenities are wonderful, but I feel a bit like Glampy Goldilocks. When I went in November it was cold and wet...and this time it was extremely hot!

Amidst the extreme heat, I did still get quite a bit of knitting done! I completed my Patina Scarf featuring Urth Yarns and I played around with a new beanie pattern featuring the new American Fiber Targhee Worsted. Stay Tuned for details on that project!

Tomorrow, Saturday June 13th is WW Craft in Public Day. Show up to craft in public in front of the shop!

Next Saturday June 20th is the 4th Cambria Pride by the Sea event at the Vets Hall and Ball & Skein will have a booth there!

Tomorrow We Celebrate WW Craft in Public Day

Tomorrow we get to celebrate World Wide Craft in Public Day (Saturday, June 13th) from 12PM- 4 PM.

World Wide Craft in Public Day is a global grassroots event celebrated annually on the second Saturday in June. It encourages local crafters to gather in public spaces—like parks, cafes, and yarn shops—to work on their projects, socialize, and show the world that crafting is a vibrant community activity. 

Show up to hang out with old friends and meet new ones while enjoying your craft in public!

Cambria Pride By the Sea is next Saturday June 20th

The 4th Annual Cambria Pride by the Sea event is next Saturday June 20th from 11AM - 4PM. Ball & Skein will have a vendor booth set up at the Cambria Vet's building where we'll be selling a curated collection of products from the shop, including the Pride by the Sea Beanie Kits!
