Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we welcome the month of June, we are reminded of God’s abundant love and the many blessings that surround us each day. June invites us into longer days, renewed hope, and moments to reflect on the beauty of faith, family, and community. In this month’s "Joy of the Family" blog, we delve into the beauty of liturgical living and how our daily lives can align with the rhythm of the Church’s liturgical calendar.

This month, the Church also honors fathers and father figures who guide, protect, and lead with strength, humility, and love. On Father’s Day, we give thanks for the men who reflect the caring heart of St. Joseph through their sacrifice, wisdom, and devotion to their families. Be sure to visit our “From the Desk” section to discover the top 20 best Catholic Men's podcasts to listen to in 2026. May God bless all fathers with courage, peace, and joy as they continue their important vocation.

June is also traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a beautiful reminder of Christ’s endless compassion and mercy for each of us. May His Sacred Heart draw us closer to Him and inspire us to share kindness, patience, and love with those around us. We hope you enjoy our "Liturgical Living" and "Let Us Pray" sections, which highlight the Sacred Heart of Jesus and offers special ways to celebrate this devotion throughout the month.

As we begin this new month, let us continue walking together in faith, trusting in God’s plan and rejoicing in the gift of His presence in our lives.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful June!

Cathy, Deacon Louie, Maria, Liliana, Andy,

Cindy, Rosario, and Beth

Liturgical Living is living our faith in every aspect of our lives. It allows us to celebrate the saints to allow them be the role models for us and our children instead of the role models that the world lifts up. Liturgical living gives our lives such fulfilling meaning through Christ, and it also balance through the ebbs and flows and peaks and valleys that the Liturgical year offers.

The Catholic Grandparents Association hosts a Grandparents' Faith Café online via Zoom on the second Tuesday of every month. The Faith Café sees Grandparents from around the world gathering for an hour to hear from a guest speaker, to share moments of prayer and reflection and to be together in a social space.

We believe that it all starts with the family, the domestic church.

Our goal in the Office of Marriage, Family Life, Faith Formation and Youth & Young Adult Ministry (MFLFFYM for short!) is to support parishes, parents & families in their journey of faith as they live out their God-given call with others.

Caregiving is one of the hardest jobs you’ll ever love. Yet so often, the caregivers are left feeling drained, guilty, and alone. We believe caregivers deserve care too.

The Emmaus Ministry for Grieving Parents serves the spiritual needs of parents whose children of any age have died by any cause, no matter how long ago.

Ministry of the Month

Fully Engaged Marriage Ministry

The ministry of Marriage Preparation can be one of the most rewarding experiences for a married couple who is involved in the immediate marriage preparation of an engaged couple. Working closely with the parish priest and other parish staff, as well as with the Marriage Preparation Office, a sponsor couple can enhance an engaged couple's’ preparation through their own commitment, their willingness to share and communicate their understanding of the process of Sacramental Marriage.
