Students In Poland
Earlier in June, Dr. Jim Mazurkiewicz, our President, was in Poland with students from the Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership program at Texas A&M (TALL).

Just home from taking Texas A&M agriculture students to Poland, now Dr. Jim is hosting several Polish Ag students here in Texas. Here they are visiting a famous landmark on the Texas A&M campus. See more photos on our Facebook page.

The Father Leopold Moczygemba Foundation
has for decades sponsored the Polish Booth, at the
Texas Folklife Festival
in San Antonio, selling fresh, cooked pierogi and kielbasa.
Both the FLMF and the TFF are MEMBERS of PACT!

, dropped by to say hello while he was in town with his family.

Genny Kraus,
another one of our Directors, has been performing with the Mazurka Polish Dancers at the Texas Folklife Festival since it's beginning, 46 years ago!
She got a hug from this cool guy from El Paso, who is also a Polish dancer!

Youth traveling to Poland this summer
|
|
PACT VP,
Dr. Piotr Przybylski, will be accompanying a youth field trip to Poland this summer, including ten children and four adults from the
Polish Saturday School at Our Lady of Czestochowa, Houston. The trip will be July 3-10.
They will visit Northern Poland, including Torun, Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Biskupin. The trip is organized by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship Marshal’s Office, Poland.
We look forward to hearing about their experiences in Poland!

Dr. Jim Mazurkiewicz, our PACT President, received the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit from Poland President
Andrzej Duda in Warsaw in June 2016. It is the
highest honor which can be bestowed on a non-Polish citizen! We're still so proud of him!
