SBCA and DIRECTV Partner to Launch New Certification Program
SBCA in partnership with DIRECTV, Perfect-Vision has launched a new certification program specifically for DIRECTV technicians. This hybrid course contains both hands-on and classroom training. The classroom training will be conducted at upcoming roadshows hosted by Perfect Vision. For dates and details of the roadshow near you contact your Perfect Vision representative.
This course is comprised of the online content needed to complete the DIRECTV Retailer Technician Certification program upon completing this course you will need to pass the hands-on assessment in order to receive your final certification. This course is designed for both new and existing technicians to give them the skills to properly install and troubleshoot a DIRECTV system in order to ensure total customer satisfaction. Technicians who successfully complete the training program will also receive a Zone of Protection (ZOP) app ($50 value).

The Federal Aviation Administration has come to an agreement with AT&T and Verizon that would delay a full rollout of 5G C-band wireless for an additional year, to July 2023. During the extension period, the FAA will encourage operators of aircraft that may face 5G interference to replace radar altimeters or add filters that will minimize the risk.
