We are excited to officially start the Monarch monitoring season for 2023!
As recently as May 24th, monarch eggs have been spotted in Kentucky and Kansas City! Click the link to follow the monarchs journey!
Monarch Monitoring Training will occur on Friday June 9th at 10am @ Sweetwater Nature Reserve. This field training is mandatory for all new volunteers, returning volunteers are welcome as well! During training, we will go over the protocols for monarch monitoring and new volunteers will receive relevant materials and information. To register for Training, click HERE TO REGISTER
If you are unable to make the above training date, please email us and we will be happy to schedule a different training session for you!
For returning volunteers, monarch monitoring manuals and tools will be made available if you need a new one. Arrange a time to pick up a new manual by calling the office or email us.
If comfortable, returning volunteers can go into the field for their first monitoring visit!
