June is Pride Month and Greenlight Family Services is proud to serve LGBTQ+ youth and families!

Greenlight knows firsthand the joy that LGBTQ+ parents bring into their children’s lives and we support and celebrate these beautiful family bonds. Within LGBTQ+ families, while both parents are likely already providing care and parenting their child(ren), often only one parent has legal parental rights. Through Greenlight Legal Services, a second-parent adoption formally recognizes both parents with the same rights.

Let’s join together and march towards a future where every child is cherished and every family is recognized. Here’s to a Pride Month filled with love, acceptance, and a shared commitment to children’s permanency and well-being.

Greenlight Advances LGBTQ+ Equity

This pride month, Greenlight is partnering with the Human Rights Campaign Foundation to begin the All Children - All Families (ACAF) certification process. Since 2007, ACAF has provided educational resources, training, and technical assistance on LGBTQ+ inclusion for child welfare systems. We are excited to formalize our long-standing support and inclusion of LGBTQ+ families.
