Beloved Community,

Thank you for your continued support of Faith in TX and our shared work for liberation and equity in our communities. As we enter this second half of June, we hold in our hearts and minds all of our sisters and brothers, both at home and around the globe, wrestling with the demons of war, violence, fear, and hate. We hold them at the center of our work for freedom and democracy.

In the midst of the struggle, we know that we must also lean into radical joy, celebration, and rest. So, as you continue your work with us, please take a moment with our Muslim siblings to celebrate Eid, appreciate all the fathers showing up for their children, families, and communities, and let us remember and commemorate the liberation story of Juneteenth.

Free Palestine! Divest from war! Invest in humanity!

In solidarity and faith,

Dr. Jaime M. Kowlessar

Executive Director of Faith in Texas
