Celebration on June 8th

Celebrate Loving Day at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday June 8^th! The International Center, in partnership with Pacers Sports and Entertainment and former Mayor Greg Ballard, will host an event honoring the landmark Supreme Court decision: Loving V. Virginia in 1967.

In recognizing the historical significance of the Loving verdict, the event will be a day to celebrate interracial married couples and will include vow renewals, officiated by former Mayor Greg Ballard.

The event will take place June 8^th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with doors opening at 12:30 pm.

2024 Global Impression Award

The International Center has just opened nominations for the 2024 Global Impression Award!

Established in 2018, the Global Impression Award (GIA) recognizes emerging leaders who are demonstrating success in their profession, directly impacting Indiana's global community, and whose work contribute to an Indiana that embraces a global economy, values all cultures, and is vibrant place to live and work. Past finalists have been leaders of all sectors, including non-profits, medicine, and education, just to name a few.

The nomination period is May 15 to June 30.

Living up to the Mission

The International Center is a catalyst to inform, convene and connect public, private and civic global objectives in Indiana.

Inform:

The Center recently hosted the latest installment of our INTLCXN: International Connections Webinar Series, this time focusing on Indiana's international sports connections. This discussion featured speakers from the Indiana Fever, Indianapolis Colts, Indy Eleven, and the NCAA.

Convene:

The International Center was delighted to host a delegation of policy advisors on Supply Chain from Korea. With representatives from trade, finance, and government, the delegation spent three days in Indiana meeting with officials from across sectors. Thank you to all our partners who took the time to meet with our delegates!
