French Ambassador Visits Indiana
The International Center had the pleasure of hosting the Ambassador of France to the United States, H.E. Phillipe Étienne at its office on May 20th during his visit to Indiana.

Ambassador Étienne participated in a roundtable discussion on French language and culture alongside Mario Guerendo of Alliance Francaise d'Indianapolis, Consul General Guillaume Lacroix, Elizabeth Head of the International School of Indiana, and The Center's own Martin Baier in his role as Honorary Consul to France in Indiana. The ambassador also met with Governor Holcomb, toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and visited Fort Ouiatenon Park in West Lafayette, the first French settlement in the state.

"We are honored that Ambassador Étienne is visiting the Hoosier State to highlight the positive business and cultural relations between France and Indiana," said Martin to Inside INdiana Business. "The International Center is proudly facilitating those global connections on so many levels.”
