THE CENTER ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIPS WITH AMERICA CHINA SOCIETY, INDIANA COUNCIL ON WORLD AFFAIRS
The International Center believes that collaboration around global business and diplomacy is essential to our shared success and to that of Indiana. With this in mind,  The Center has recently signed two new collaborative partnership agreements with like-minded nonprofit organizations , the America China Society of Indiana (ACSI) and the Indiana Council on World Affairs, Inc. (ICWA).
 
Our organizations’ shared interests in strengthening Indiana's global t ies, as well as strategically combining our complementary skills, services and events, will guide our collaborative efforts and bolster our mutual cooperation with public, private, and community institutions across Indiana.

The mission of the America China Society of Indiana is to strengthen the Indiana-China business relationship, create mutually beneficial business opportunities, and foster a China-friendly business environment.
 
The mission of the Indiana Council on World Affairs is to foster public understanding of world conditions and U.S. foreign policy through forums, lectures, conference and publications. The Indiana Council on World Affairs [ICWA], operating continuously since 1955, is a member council of the World Affairs Councils of America [WACA] . Various perspectives on complex but critical matters of global significance are considered in meetings open to the public. Each year, it develops and manages the Distinguished Speakers program. Also, it administers the Great Decisions series of the Foreign Policy Association [FPA] .  To promote international studies among high school students, it operates the Academic WorldQuest [AWQ] .
GLOBAL IMPRESSION AWARD NOMINATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!
Due to an outpouring of support from the community, the Global Impression Award committee has extended the nomination deadline until Friday, June 15!

The award, whose inaugural winner will be announced on August 23 during the 2018 International Citizen of the Year Award Dinner and Program, has been designed to honor emerging leaders whose work has advanced the globalization of Indiana.

The committee’s preference is for nominees to be 42 years of age or younger, as the Global Impression Award is designed to identify and recognize emerging leaders contributing in a significant way to our community’s global presence and impact.
