We hosted our Annual Spring Gala on May 1st and were absolutely blown away by the event and the outpouring of generosity from the friends of The Margaret Home. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $275,000 this year!

The Gala directly supports our mission to provide a safe, nurturing home for pregnant and parenting mothers as they work toward healing, growth, and independence. From heartfelt moments to joyful celebration, the evening was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together.

Updates from the Home!

This month, we celebrated a special milestone as a few of our moms reached their one-year ceremony in the program—a huge accomplishment that reflects their dedication and growth.

We’re also excited to share that some of our moms are working hard toward earning their driver’s licenses—and a few have already achieved that goal!

These steps represent greater independence and empowerment on their journeys.

Celebrating Paula Belemjian – 2025 Women of Excellence Award Recipient!

We are proud to announce that Paula Belemjian has officially been honored as a 2025 Women of Excellence award recipient by the Rochester Business Journal! Selected by an outside panel of judges, honorees were chosen based on their professional experience, community involvement, and commitment to inspiring change.

As the founder of The Margaret Home, Paula has spent nearly a decade empowering women and children to break cycles of poverty and build independent, hope-filled futures. Her leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication continue to uplift and inspire everyone around her.

We're Urgently Hiring!

Direct Care Manager (DCM): We have an ongoing need for compassionate and motivated Direct Care Managers. If you’re a skilled communicator with a passion for helping others, this role might be the perfect fit for you!

DCMs work closely with residents, babies, and staff, assisting mothers with day-to-day life skills, implementing policies, and ensuring program continuity.
