In this issue, the CLF partners with Melanoma Canada to learn more about skin cancer and lymphedema, featuring a clinical roundtable discussion with the team at the McGill University Health Centre Lymphedema Program.

Check out the guest article by Liz Dylke to take a closer look at how new, evidence-based research gets translated into everyday practice and how the emergence of "Implementation Science" alongside traditional, clinical research may ultimately impact patient care.

Gain insights into finding the right fit for all things compression in the article featuring experienced garment fitters Yasmin Ejbick and Alla Hardoon.

You will be inspired by the personal story shared by Darek Mikita, where he reflects on his experience and shares his perspective on how to live with lymphedema successfully.

Help the CLF WIN $20,000 from CanadaHelps

The Great Canadian Giving Challenge is a national contest hosted each year in June by CanadaHelps. Every $1 donated to the CLF June 1st - June 30th on CanadaHelps.org or GivingChallenge.ca, serves as a chance for the CLF to win a $20,000 donation.

Your donation this month will get us one step closer to our 2023 Education Fund fundraising goal of $10,000 to print educational materials for complimentary distribution to healthcare providers and lymphedema patients across Canada. Every dollar makes a difference. Thank you for supporting this education initiative.

Imagine the difference $20,000 could make! Donate Today!

  • FREE, 12-week exercise classes designed specifically for individuals undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment
  • Online classes available
  • Exercise classes will run twice a week in a circuit-style, focusing on cardiovascular, resistance training, balance, and stretching exercises
  • Class instructors also provide education to support your commitment to being more physically active
