A Note from GWCF Board Chair
Foundation Supporters,
As most of you know, we are currently underway in the search for the Foundation’s newest CEO. We know there is concern in the community because of the series of leadership transitions that have taken place over the past few years. Along the way, our only goal has been to find the right person to lead the Foundation. That goal remains unaltered. Details outlining the search process will be coming shortly and we will share them with the entire community as soon as possible.
In the meantime, please be assured that the Foundation has never been stronger financially and is administratively in solid hands with our three Vice Presidents: Kelly, Jonathan, and Diane, leading their respective departments and reporting to the Executive Committee.
Our search will be patient and thorough and I, along with the entire Board, are committed to finding a leader who will represent the values of and the fidelity to greater Worcester that the Foundation has embodied for more than 40 years. Many thanks to those who have provided notes of encouragement, offers of assistance and unwavering support and guidance to and for the Foundation during this important time.
Sincerely,
J. Christopher Collins, Board Chair

Foundation Sponsors Worcester Tercentennial
While the city celebrated Worcester’s Tercentennial, GWCF remained committed to promoting equity and inclusion throughout the Tercentennial events. GWCF’s sponsorship of the Worcester Tercentennial Weekend included grants that aimed to facilitate the inclusion of underrepresented and marginalized groups in both the Parade and Festival. The weekend events afforded opportunity to honor Worcester’s diverse and eclectic makeup of organizations, schools, neighborhood organizations, and more.

Donor Central
Have you visited the new Donor Central site? Created to better serve the Foundation and our community, the Donor Central site went live in February. Fund holders are able to easily access accounts and distribute available funding to organizations of their choosing.
Through the new site, a donor recently created 33 grants. Over $18,000 was granted - entirely through the Donor Central portal. If you are a fund holder and have not yet accessed the new portal, please reach out to donor services at donorservices@greaterworcester.org for login access.
