School is OUT for the SUMMER ☀️

The last day of school energy filled the air as students and staff said their goodbyes! There were bouncy houses, dunk tanks, water balloons, shirt signing, gift giving, yard games, popsicles, face painting and so much more. We are so proud of all the hard work from the students and staff this 2022-2023 school year!



We are wishing everyone a refreshing and safe summer. ✌🏾

Teacher Appreciation Week 🍎

On May 8th-12th, we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week to honor all of our staff who serve, support, mentor, educate, nurture, and inspire. During the week, all the staff were gifted t-shirts, breakfasts & lunches. There was celebratory signage and window painting. A creative "thank you" exhibit at Art Bar and so much more! Teaching is often a selfless profession and we are grateful for the work they do 365 days a year!

Decision Day 🎉🎉🎉

The Class of 2023 is MAS' largest class yet with 70 graduating Seniors. On May 19th, we held a Decision Day where every senior walked across the stage and announced their next steps after graduation. We were so proud to have 5 students declare UW-Madison, our top scholarship winner declare a full ride to Notre Dame University and have other wonderful universities and colleges represented like Marquette, UW-Madison, UW-Whitewater, Wisconsin Lutheran, MATC, and more! Our students are so bright & we can't wait to see the impact of their future leadership as they go off into the world.

Lalani Ellis Signs at Eastern Illinois University 🏀

After bringing her team to place 2nd in the WIAA State tournament this year, MAS Senior Lalani Ellis signs to play Division 1 basketball and attend school at Eastern Illinois University next year. MAS is so proud that we provide quality academics and athletics that give young people like Lalani Ellis the opportunity to make her dreams come true!

Partnership Highlight: Boys & Girls Club Bike Shop

A new bike shop in MAS?? Yes! 🚲 We are SO grateful to be the host site of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee new BGC B!KE Shop in partnership with Bublr Bikes where students can participate in the bike apprenticeship program & learn basic bike repair skills. Really...off the chains stuff 🤣
