Long-time volunteer
Bob Harding
was recognized for his service and sacrifice at the Memorial Day Troops in the Spotlight Event in Hyannis.
Bob served as a Marine in the Pacific during World War II. He has been volunteering with Habitat for 17 years and is a regular on the construction sites. Thank you Bob!

Our new
Operations & Administrative Assistant
Kathy and her husband Bill recently relocated back to MA after spending two years in Austin TX and are very excited to once again call Cape Cod home. Prior to joining us, Kathy worked in administrative roles at the Univeristy of Texas/Austin and Babson College. In her spare time she can be found taking long beach walks in East Dennis with her husband, and hanging out with their two grown children.
Ed will be working at the Yarmouth ReStore as we enter into our busy peak season from May through early fall. In addition to his retail experience, Ed has a strong background in Early Childhood education, having taught at a variety of Montessori schools in the United States and abroad. Ed and his wife currently reside in Hyannis.

Search for New Executive Director Begins
After twenty years of service, Vicki Goldsmith plans to retire at the end of the year
. The formal search process for the next Executive Director has begun.

Rally the Alleys
Our 2019 Rally the Alleys bowling fundraiser held at and sponsored by Ryan Family Amusements was the most successful yet, thanks to our bowlers, teams, donors, sponsors, and volunteers!
Participants help to raise over $34,000 for Habitat Cape Cod!

Handyman Hotline Home Show and Live Broadcast
Larry Egan and John O'Rourke of The Handyman Hotline Show on 95.1 WXTK held a home show at Cape Cod Beer to benefit Habitat Cape Cod.
There was live music from Chris Parkin, goats from Goat Green Cape Cod, and locally-brewed Cape Cod Beer as well as locally made hard cider and wine. Thank you to all who attended and donated to this great event and a BIG thank you to those who sponsored it!

Kayak Raffle
The 2019 Kayak Raffle to benefit Habitat Cape Cod is underway! Look for volunteers Pat Taylor and Bill Witmer this summer at Arts Alive in Falmouth, Harwich Cranberry Shows, Craftfest Cotuit, Eastham Windmill Weekend, Yarmouth Seaside Festival, Wellfleet Oysterfest, Tuesdays in front of the town hall in Provincetown and more!

Ride for Homes- September 22nd
Last year we had 76 riders raise over $50,000 and we’d love to double that in 2019!
There are two routes – 10 miles along the Cape Cod Canal and 40 miles to Woods Hole and back to the Aptucket Trading Post in Bourne.
The minimum fundraising amount is $300 per rider with a $25 registration fee.

The ZBA heard our application on May 9th. We hope to have approval at our continuation hearing held at Wellfleet COA on Thursday, June 13th at 7 p.m.
