TCPA participants will attend classes to learn more about disability advocacy and also have an opportunity to attend AUCD conference sessions, present a poster, and most importantly - visit their representatives on Capitol Hill. Learn more.

The webinar brings together a panel of disability service practitioners who have experience with different types of ID-focused programs on their campuses. Cate Weir of Think College will be part of the panel as well. Join the panel June 29, 1pm ET to hear about different ways students with ID are meaningfully included on different types of college campuses.

Transition and Postsecondary Education Programs for Students with Intellectual Disability (TPSID)

TPSID are model demonstration projects funded by the US Department of Education.

Members of the Think College team will take to the road again this fall to visit a few more TPSID projects. So far, our itinerary includes the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Calvin University in Michigan. These visits have risen to the top of our list as “favorite things to do” because we have the opportunity to learn so much about each project, and get a better feel for the similarities and differences across programs. Perhaps best of all, we get to deepen our relationships with project staff and meet students!
