IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES GUIDELINES
Big Brothers Big Sisters is following NJ state guidelines related to COVID-19. We continue to expect our matches to follow CDC and State guidance on Covid safety and in-person interactions -- see the link below to review our guidelines. We ask that you follow these recommendations and discuss mask wearing and activities with each other (parent/guardian/volunteer/child) when planning outings.
PARK CLEAN UP DAY
 Volunteering can provide a healthy boost to one's self-confidence, self-esteem, and sense of accomplishment. Egg Harbor Township's 2nd Annual Park Pride Day will be held on June 25th, starting at 8:30am. Their goal is to bring people together to show pride in the community by removing litter from public parks. Everyone is encouraged to participate by spending the day cleaning up in one of EHT's 9 beautiful parks. Pre-registration is required, and all supplies are provided. PRIDE MONTH
SUPPORT EQUALITY, & INCLUSIVITY
Every year, during the month of June, the LGBT+ community celebrates in a number of different ways. Across the globe, various events are held during this special month as a way of recognising the influence LGBT+ people have had around the world. We have found events in Atlantic and Cape May counties to show your pride or support by being an ally. Check out the links below for a "Rainbow RIde" on the Atlantic City Boardwalk/Beach on Saturday, June 18th at 11am or the 2nd Annual Cape May Pride March, followed by games and fun events on the beach, on Thursday, June 23rd at 5pm. FARMER'S MARKETS ARE BACK!
It's that time of the year again. Farmer's Markets are back! Going to the farmers market is a great way to begin fostering a sense of community and supporting local businesses in children and teens. They can meet the farmers and you can model asking questions about where the food came from and how they came to be at the market. Not only is it a fun community event, they can also learn and be inspired by tons of local, small businesses and vendors!

CAPE MAY PROMENADE
ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW
Join in on the fun at the Cape May Promenade Arts & Crafts Show on June 11th & 12th from 10am-5pm! This is a fun, FREE event with over 80 arts and crafts vendors and stations!! Soak up some inspiration, and let those creative juices flow!
STRENGTHENING FAMILIES PROGRAM
This is a FREE program for families with children ages 9-14 years old at the EHT community center starting on July 6, 2022. Space is limited, so sign up NOW! There are great incentives with this program, along with a night off from cooking because dinner will be provided to you! SUMMER JOBS FOR TEENS
Do you know of a youth aged 17-24 who is looking for full-time summer work opportunities? This program will offer youth an avenue for learning the skills necessary for pursuing a career in environmental protection, conservation, and stewardship.
