Happy Summer Everyone! I hope you're enjoying the warm weather and all that Minnesota has to offer this time of year.

Our annual golf outing on June 21 was SO MUCH FUN! It was great to see members, sponsors and guests after not seeing everyone for so long. Thank you to everyone that made it a special day - please be sure to see the photos below.

We are closing out our fiscal year with TWO more virtual sessions TOMORROW. Please see below to get signed up or check YouTube in the next few days for the recordings.

Also, look for information below on our virtual Annual Business Meeting on July 14th. We will recognize outgoing Board Chair Anita Moulton and welcome incoming Board Chair Brian Volkmann. Plus we'll be sharing highlights from the past year and previewing next year.

I would love to hear from you. Please email me and we'll find a time to connect!

TOMORROW: Future is Now | Estate Planning in the Biden Tax Era
Wednesday, June 30, 8 - AM CST | Register
They say that the only thing you can count on is death and taxes. In the world of taxes in the United States, you can count on tax law changing. With a new administration in the White House, the president has proposed...

TOMORROW: Future is Now | Modern Data Protection: The 'as a service' revolution comes to disaster recovery
Wednesday, June 30, 9 - 10 AM CST | Register
Are you protected in an event of a cyber attack? Is your data being backed up? How about your O365 or Google accounts?

The world is moving to an "as a service" model and this now includes data recovery. This model provides benefits to users including greater assurance that your information is protected in a consistent, reliable way; you're no longer responsible for the physical hardware/storage of the information and it may result in cost-savings to the organization because you purchase only what is needed.

Tim Grosshuesch from Atomic Data will cover:
  • Where data resides in organizations
  • What systems needs to be backed up and whose responsibility is it (yours, the provider or shared)
  • How moving to data recovery "as a service" can save your organization money (and maybe event help you sleep at night!) and
  • What questions you need to be asking and thinking about to successfully navigate a transition.

He will also share case histories in higher education, healthcare and a non-profit to illustrate how this has positively impacted several organizations.
