Foundation Internships Starting!
The IPPS-ER Foundation is happy to announce we are supporting two interns this summer with Foundation funds! The recipients will each receive up to $1,000 to help pay for their approved expenses.
Katelyn McVay at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA with Eleanor Gould as supervisor and
Christopher Thompson at Gold Coast Fruit in Ghana, Africa with Mary Oluonye as supervisor are the recipients.
Internship Committee Chair, Ron Amos, of Evergreen Nursery said, “It took some doing to develop and promote a practical way to support interns in horticulture. We’ve rolled this out over the last year or so and fully expect it to be a work in progress.”
The Foundation’s programs for scholarships, research grants and internships are announced in the IPPS-ER monthly newsletter and by email to members, academics and students. Membership is free to students; join
