As we close another incredible month at The Boost Pad, we're filled with gratitude for the entrepreneurs, partners, sponsors, mentors, and community leaders who continue to make this ecosystem stronger.

June was a month of milestones.

From helping entrepreneurs better understand pathways to funding during Community Access to Capital, to celebrating the opening of Do Greater Charlotte's new Spark House - Graduation, and culminating with an unforgettable Cohort 12 Pitch Night, this month reminded us that entrepreneurship flourishes when community comes together.

None of this would have been possible without the continued partnership of Do Greater Charlotte, and the generous support of Ally and the NC IDEA Foundation, whose investment in entrepreneurs continues to create meaningful opportunities for founders across our region.

As we look ahead to our next cohort and the launch of exciting new initiatives, we're more energized than ever to continue building an entrepreneurial ecosystem where every founder has the opportunity to grow.

Welcome Home, Spark House!

One of the highlights of June was celebrating the official opening of Spark House - Uptown, Do Greater Charlotte's incredible new home for entrepreneurs, innovators, nonprofits, and community builders.

We're honored that The Boost Pad Cohort 12 Pitch Night was among the very first entrepreneurial events held in this beautiful new space.

Our partnership with Do Greater Charlotte continues to grow stronger each cohort, and Spark House represents far more than a building—it represents a place where entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, learn, and build together.

Congratulations to William McNeely, the entire Do Greater Charlotte team, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

We look forward to creating many more memories together at Spark House.

Community Access to Capital

Entrepreneurs don't just need funding. They need access.

That's exactly what our Community Access to Capital event provided.

Hosted by The Boost Pad in partnership with Do Greater Charlotte, and proudly sponsored by Ally Bank , the evening brought together entrepreneurs, lenders, investors, and ecosystem leaders for meaningful conversations about what it truly takes to become capital-ready.

Highlights included:

• A fireside conversation with a founder and a Venture Capitalist

• Capital Access 101 panel discussions

• Funding pathways and grant opportunities

• Networking with lenders, investors, and community partners

Together, we continue breaking down barriers and opening doors for entrepreneurs throughout our community.

Introducing the Strategic Partner Network

At The Boost Pad, we believe entrepreneurs thrive when surrounded by people who are willing to invest social capital —like  relationships, knowledge, and opportunities.

That's why we're excited to begin building our Strategic Partner Network.

This growing network will bring together entrepreneurs, alumni, business professionals, industry experts, ecosystem builders, investors, nonprofit leaders, and corporate partners who are committed to helping founders succeed.

Whether through mentorship, strategic introductions, educational workshops, speaking opportunities, office hours, or collaborative partnerships, Strategic Partners will play an essential role in helping entrepreneurs continue growing long after graduation.

Interested in becoming a Strategic Partner?

We'd love to connect.

Together, we can build stronger businesses and stronger communities.

Applications for an upcoming cohort of The Boost Pad will be opening soon.

If you know an entrepreneur who is building an early-stage business and is looking for guidance, accountability, community, and access to valuable resources, we'd love to meet them.

The Boost Pad is designed to help founders strengthen their businesses through education, mentorship, community connections, and access to capital.
