MERCURY RACING INTRODUCES THE NEW 500 HP SUPERCHARGED V8

Earlier this month, I was in Charleston, South Carolina for the release of Mercury Racing’s new supercharged 4.6-liter V8 outboard engine. It delivers 500 horsepower along with lots of torque and a lot of very cool innovations.

Even though Mercury is in a leadership position in the industry, they are not complacent. They continue to innovate while upholding the highest levels of quality. Keep up the good work Team Mercury!

BIG FUN AND BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS AT THE OWNERS RENDEZVOUS

I’m super excited to see everyone at Intrepid’s Owners Rendezvous July 13-16 at Ocean Reef Club. We have a full schedule of activities and celebrations under the sun and on the water in beautiful Key Largo.

Intrepid has a number of exciting announcements to share at the Rendezvous. I can’t give away any details yet, but can let you know that we’ll be updating the Intrepid Nation at Ocean Reef with news about:

• New Yacht Division Factory
• Our largest boat yet – the new 60 Evolution
• Well-known Italian designer to partner with Intrepid on luxury yacht interior

THE INTREPID NATION GETS READY TO PARTY

The Intrepid team has been hard at work preparing for the Owners Rendezvous at the legendary Ocean Reef Club. It’s a highlight of the year to be able to gather for fun, relaxation and the best that the boating life has to offer.

In addition to enjoying the island resort’s world-class marina, championship golf, fine dining and non-stop entertainment, we have a big party planned for each day of the Rendezvous, including the Sand Bar Raft-Up Party.

SALES AND SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS COMING TO INTREPID

In the coming days, Intrepid will be debuting a number of important expansions and improvements at our Sales and Service facility in Dania, Florida. The changes are designed to enhance customer service and make the experience of purchasing an Intrepid even smoother.

Details about these Sales and Service enhancements will premiere at the upcoming Rendezvous and will be shared with the entire Intrepid Nation in the next newsletter.

Those attending the Owners Rendezvous will get a chance to see our new 51 Panacea that debuted at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. Our largest model yet is a 38,000-pound boat with a phenomenal hull and overall design that allows it to run at 71 miles per hour with 900 gallons of fuel on board.

This is more of everything you want in a powerboat: spacious helm with two rows of 4 across seating, helm seat cabinet with countertop, sink, refrigerator and slide out cooler; triple forward sun lounger; opulent cabin; and more.

Summer's here, and it's a great season to spend time aboard with family and friends to make happy memories of your time together. The upcoming Fourth of July is a busy time on the water, so please be extra careful during this holiday. If you’ll be cruising to a fireworks display, check your navigation lights to make sure that everything is in proper working order. Don’t forget the anchor light. 

Having your boat in top shape throughout your boating season is essential for a carefree summer. It's important to keep your water supply as fresh and clean as possible, so if this is the beginning of your summer season of boating, it’s good to give some attention to the freshwater system. Their tips about making your water supply as drinkable as possible are good ones, so please take a moment to review this information.

IMPORTANT BOATING TIPS DURING THE HURRICANE SEASON

The official start of the 2023 hurricane season was June 1^st. With that in mind, the safety of family and friends is paramount. Second to that, is the importance of keeping your boat out of harm's way if a storm approaches. Please take some time to review suggestions from Boat US about how to plan for and stay out of harm’s way when the weather gets dicey.

We have many customers who come to visit us at our factory, and what they see is amazing. It's always worth it to spend some time walking through our facility to see our craftsman do the different jobs that make our boats so special. There are many projects in the works at any given time that are different and unusual, it's these custom features that make each of our boats a one of a kind.
