Ms. Ingram opened the first beauty salon serving people of color in St. Lawrence County. She received a Downtown Revitalization grant for commercial rental assistance and small business start-up debt financing from the Village of Potsdam and Adirondack Economic Development Corporation’s (AEDC) micro-enterprise revolving loan funds.


“I am very excited,” Ms. Ingram said. “This is going to be good for the North Country.”

HOLISTIC RADIANT MASSAGE


Holistic Radiant Massage will offer a wide variety of massage modalities to help their clients feel pain-free and a sense of bodily balance. Tina Bord aims to provide an accessible pathway to wellness and improve quality of life through professional, skillful, and affordable body work. Ms. Bord is a licensed massage therapist, a certified holistic healthcare provider, and is certified in Reiki. Services offered will include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and Reiki treatments.

SBA Microlender Conference

Executive Director Victoria Duley represented AEDC in Detroit at the biennial Small Business Administration (SBA) Microlenders Conference in Detroit on May 1-3. It was great to meet partners in person after a 3-year pandemic pause!

Adirondack Day

Our Business Opportunities Counselor Dr. Chad Czelusniak-Serviss represented AEDC in Albany, at Adirondack Day! The day highlighted the many resources of the Adirondack region to our legislators.

2023 NY State Economic Development Council Annual Meeting

AEDC staff and several board members enjoyed attending the New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) annual meeting in Cooperstown May 24-26th.
