Time to look back on the 11 day amazing event that is Drupa - 1837 exhibitors from 54 countries showcased their products to 260,000 visitors from 188 countries.  Truly an international trade show!

Robin French, MD, said "Drupa attracts visitors from all over the world which gives us the perfect opportunity to touch base with our existing D&K dealers as much as meeting new customers.

It is our opportunity to showcase the quality of D&K machines to a global marketplace and visitors to our stand were able to see live demonstrations of D&K laminators from B3 -15m/minute machines (Neptune) up to pallet to pallet feed B1 landscape - 40m/minute (Triton).  Particular interest was shown in the Neptune fitted with a re-wind unit to enable foiling to take place.



We are delighted with the quality of visitors onto the stand and 2016 is proving it to be our most successful Drupa yet."

Canon Solutions America Announces Collaboration with D&K Group - May 2016
 
Expanded finishing portfolio offers turnkey large format print and laminate solutions

Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced that it has partnered with D&K Group - a global manufacturer of leading-edge adhesive and coating technologies and print finishing equipment. The vertically integrated manufacturer specializes in a wide assortment of laminating films, adhesives, coated products, and equipment designed to work with today's print engines. With this collaboration, Canon Solutions America's Large Format division expands its portfolio offerings to now include turnkey solutions for printing and laminating applications.
 
With the addition of these wide format laminators and laminating films to their already expansive portfolio of large format products and services, Canon Solutions America has once again elevated its robust suite of print application capabilities. Now, by combining D&K premium laminators and laminating films with an Océ ColorWave® printer or Océ Arizona® series printer, users can experience a heightened range of application possibilities such as flexible displays, floor graphics, wall graphics, counter top graphics, and much more. Additionally, the Canon Solutions America Professional Services team can help customers implement a total end-to-end solution with advanced consulting, workflow analysis, and implementation services.

Expression® De-Roller
The Expression® De-Roller takes curl out of prints and posters in minutes! 

This first-of-its-kind accessory provides an ingenious solution to the curling pro blems plaguing framers. 

Now, by simply using De-Roller, you can take the curl out of posters, digital printouts, and photographic and fine art papers in minutes- without causing damage or wasting hours of your valuable time.

The process is safe, simple, and much more efficient than using weights, tubes, or similar items to flatten out images. Simply place a curled print (frequently caused from being wound around a core or stored inside a tube) inside the De-Roller and press down as you roll the tube forward. Allow the print to sit as needed, then reverse the process and retrieve the image.
