June Highlight: Alan Adams selected as 2023

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is proud to present the 2023 Joseph H. Dulin Staff of the Year award to Alan Adams, Childcare Director at the H. Fletcher Brown Boys & Girls Club. Alan has been with the organization for nearly a decade, during which time he has gone above and beyond to use his talents and abilities to create a fun, safe and educational space for our members where they have the opportunity to thrive. Program Feature: Summer Fun Club is Here!

Summer Fun Club is here, and our Clubs are packed with excited members and staff! Over the next several weeks, our Clubs will be exploring the wonders of science, taking filed trips to local attractions, participating in learning programs to fight the summer slide, and having the best summer ever!

Club Activity: Mental Health Awareness

To close out Mental Health Awareness Month in May, our Smyrna Clayton Club hosted a Pizza & Paint event. Members enjoyed a creative time filled with painting activities designed to promote relaxation and self-expression, all while enjoying pizza. This event provided a perfect opportunity for our youth to unwind, connect with peers, and focus on their mental well-being.
