Training Matters
Would you bake a cake without reading the instructions first? Probably not. No matter how big or small the task you are preparing for is, training matters.
I’ve heard over and over from clients they are kinesthetic learners, meaning they need to touch the system instead of watching videos on how the system works. I can say with 100% certainty the videos matter.
Whenever a new client transitions from their current system to ADP Workforce Now, a training need is created. ADP has done a fantastic job offering a Litmos system that houses training for new practitioners and managers. The courses range from an introductory course to advanced courses on the various components of the Workforce Now platform. These components include payroll, time, benefits, talent, general ledger, reporting, and much more. ADP has created these components because they want you to be successful. They want things to be easy. They know training matters.
Clients who choose to wait for their system to be setup and then work in the system are behind the eight ball. The implementation timeline aligns with the time needed to take the courses. Training matters.
Remember, the Workforce Now system is a live system, with real data in it. When a system change is made, it can have a ripple effect. You must do the prework required to make the transition a success. With that said, I am not saying every client needs every class. ADP offers learning paths for you, and we need to align your learning path with your job tasks, duties, and responsibilities because training matters.
Training matters and is the cornerstone to your success in everything you do.
