YEAR-END THANKS

On behalf of KDT, I would like to say congratulations to all the dancers who performed in our Spring Showcase on June 2nd! It was wonderful to witness such focus, dedication, and artistry inside each work. Please extend our gratitude to your friends and family who attended the event; we sold 1,376 tickets!

Special shout out to our wonderful teaching faculty for guiding our students throughout the school year and preparing such beautiful choreography.

Thank you to the 100+ volunteers who made our showcase day possible; we could not have done it without you!

Lastly, thank you to everyone who has made a donation or contributed to one of our fundraisers this past year. As a non-profit organization, our budget relies heavily on grants and the contributions made by our patrons.

If you feel inclined, and are able to do so, please consider making one last donation before June 30th to participate in our June Board Match. Our Board of Directors will match donations, up to $500, made in the month of June. Thank you for supporting our non-profit organization!

Summer Break

ANNOUNCEMENT

Goodbye for Now

We sadly say goodbye to Kinetics School of Dance School Director, Marissa G. Elliott, this month. Marissa's family is being relocated abroad, so she will be stepping down from her position. We wish Marissa all the best in her future endeavors! KDT is honored to have collaborated with Marissa in this capacity and appreciates everything she has done for the organization.

A few words from Marissa:

"It was a pleasure to serve as the KDT School Director this past year. The families, faculty, and leadership team were tremendous to work with. I am deeply humbled to have been part of such an amazing community and I hope nothing but success for Kinetics Dance Theatre in the years to come."

2024 Summer Programs

~Dance Classes

Summer is a great time to try something new or maintain your current dance practice. Our 7-week Summer Term will run from Monday, June 24th – Saturday, August 10th. We will be closed July 4th-6th.

Two KDT classes have been added!

Beg. Adult Yoga on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30pm with Liz
Adult Dance Conditioning on Saturdays from 10:00-11:00am with Gretta

~Dance Intensive

Our week-long Summer Dance Intensive is scheduled for August 12th–16th from 9am -3pm. Our intensive provides a holistic educational experience for passionate dance students ages 8-17. Registration is open in Studio Director! Tuition is $400 for the week. A 10% discount will be applied for families registering more than one dancer.

~Dance Camps

KDT partners with Howard County Recreation & Parks to offer several dance camps each summer. Camps are open for children ages 3.5-9. Camps run Monday–Friday from 9am-Noon. Registration takes place through the HCRP site. All of our camps are almost full, so register soon if you're interested!

2024-2025 Fall/Spring Term

You can view a draft of the 24-25 Fall/Spring Term schedule here. The schedule is subject to change until registration opens on July 8th. 2023-2024 Kinetics Youth Ensemble

2024-2025 Season

The Kinetics Youth Ensemble (KYE) is a non-competitive youth dance program for students in grades 4-12. The KYE consists of 5 different groups which perform in 2 major productions each year in addition to the Kinetics School of Dance Spring Showcase.

The 2024-2025 season brings a Winter Repertory Concert and an all new story-based production in the Spring!

Our Spring show, Dance Upon a Time, will blend classic fairytales together in an all new adventure told through dance!
