YEAH!!! It's finally SUMMER!!! I hope everyone's summer is off to a great start and you are all finding time for rest, relaxation and at least a little bit of fun! This summer we have a few opportunities to focus our energies.

The first is the MO Scholars program for those of you who serve families in the qualifying areas of the state. Join us on our Monthly call to learn more about the program.

I'm also VERY excited to bring our Summer sponsor - Synergi Partners. Synergi will work with our partner schools to help you navigate the Employee Retention Tax Credit. I hope your schools are able to take advantage of this funding opportunity. We will be hosting a webinar on June 16th and I encourage you to invite your finance/business managers to attend the Zoom Informational Session with you.

Our monthly Zoom meetings will be tomorrow, Wednesday, June 8th. We will offer three times. 9a and 1p for K-8 schools and 11am for HS. I hope you'll join me and connect with other school leaders across the state. I will be discussing the MO Scholars program, the Employee Retention Tax Credit and giving updates on EANS I & II, Special Education and Federal Programs.

Employee Retention Tax Credit
If your school was impacted by Covid 19, you may be eligible for the Employee Retention Tax Credit. MoCAPE is partnering with Synergi Partners to assist you in this process. There is no upfront fee to find out if your school is eligible. Several of our State CAPEs have had great success working with Synergi and I am hopeful this will be fruitful for your school as well. MO Scholars (ESA) Updates
There have been several updates to the MO Scholars Program. Two notable changes are the inclusion of current private school students who have ISPs and the expansion to include families living in Clay County (North of Kansas City). Join us on our monthly call to hear more about the program!
