The ALS Lunch & Learn is an annual event hosted by ALS United of Georgia that highlights care needs impacted by ALS, inform patients and caregivers, educate community providers to work in partnership with clients, and empower those on the journey to make decisions.

The featured topic is ALS Research Opportunities & Updates, with a Q&A session with our own Dr. Christina Fournier and Dr. Eleanor Thomas. Other members of our Emory ALS Clinic team will also be there with some giveaways and information for you about current research opportunities.

And a Good Time Was Had By All - ALS Night at Truist Park 2026

We had a great time at Truist Park on June 2nd for ALS Night. Our team enjoyed being together outside of our clinic setting, seeing so many of our PALS throughout the evening, and soaked in all of the awareness for ALS. April Anderson did a fantastic job of throwing the first pitch and her story, shared on the jumbotron, inspired all in attendance. Watch the video below.

We are grateful to the Atlanta Braves for their donation to research at Emory ALS Center, and their partnership with Emory Healthcare in organizing a very special game day experience for all.
