E nter our annual contest for families! Send us your high resolution photos to be part of our 2019 AZA Families photo collage. Prizes vary every year, last year's winners received a gift that was of special interest to their child.

This year's theme is Celebrate Success . At Arizona Autism United, we believe that every family and person with autism has their own definition of success and our job is to help them get there. 

Choose your favorite picture of your child achieving their goals or doing something new that you weren't sure would ever happen. Then please complete the following information with your submission:

First name and age of child.
Quote (One sentence please. What is your child or family's success?).
Photo must illustrate the success quote.

  See the photo above for ideas! Other examples include: 
"Success is watching my daughter learn to dance."

Creativity is encouraged!  The
deadline is July 20, 2019.

  • Submit as many as you like! Send us the largest file size you have for best quality.
  • Include your full name, email, phone number, and two sentences as you upload your photos.
AZA United may use submitted photos for different materials such as events, social media, etc. After your submission, you will receive an email with a photo release form to sign electronically. We must receive the signed form in order to enter your photos into the contest.

Upcoming Training Seminar: The Fundamentals of ABA


Join us on Saturday, July 20 at the Ability 360 Center to learn about The Fundamentals of ABA for Children with Autism.

This seminar is recommended for all professionals and parents helping children with autism. The class covers a wide array of effective teaching strategies to address the learning needs and behavior challenges for children with autism and related disorders.

Meet your presenter:
Dr. Ehren Werntz , BCBA is the Clinical Director for Family and Community Services at Arizona Autism United. Ehren is a behavior analyst who has worked with families affected by autism and related behavioral disorders since 2000. He has extensive experience developing and overseeing special education and a variety of ABA programs. In recent years, with the help of his team, Ehren's work has focused on the treatment of challenging behavior, parent training, and helping families work together to improve long term health and vitality. 

The registration fee for this seminar is $25.

Adults only please; childcare will not be provided.
