Racing Toward Responsibility
|
To continue our Green Program the Air Force Marathon adopted a portion of Kauffman Avenue in 2021 which is part of the marathon course.
Join the Air Force Marathon team on Friday, June 10 as we clean up the roadway in support of our efforts to become a more sustainable event. Please arrive to the parking lot nearest to Kauffman Ave/Raider Rd (Wright State Practice Fields) intersection by 10 a.m. and sign in. You will see the Air Force Marathon vehicle parked in the parking lot as reference. Disposable gloves, trash pickers, and garbage bags will be provided. Please contact us at 937-257-4350 or usaf.marathon@us.af.mil if you have any questions.
Organized clean ups will be scheduled several times throughout the year and will be open to the public.
There are still slots open to join the green team on race weekend set for September 16-17, 2022. You can check out those volunteer positions here.
