KZMU Audio Book Club
We will be on air with Back of Beyond Books at 5pm on Monday, June 3 for KZMU's monthly Audio Book Club!
We'll be interviewing Heather Hansman author of the new book Down River: Into the Future of Water in the West .
We'll also discuss our latest bookish pursuits and upcoming local literary events.
The Hunt for Archibald's Treasure
Starts June 5

Be on the lookout each week for a new clue to lead to Archibald's Treasure. Each clue will point you to two letters to be found at specific locations in Moab.
Children's Summer Reading Blast Off!

Star Hall
Join us for a Mad Science program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and the first humans landing on the Moon! Summer reading logs and schedule will be there.
An interactive science show featuring stories of scientists, explorations, discoveries, galaxies, and space travel. All ages welcome. Program will be geared toward toddler through elementary school ages.

Accept our reading challenge and earn a new prize each week all summer! Reading logs and bags are available for pick up in the library.

Adult Summer Reading
Book Bingo!
June 10 - September 9
Pick up a bingo card from the library, read books that match the categories on the front of the bingo card, fill in bingo squares as you read over the summer, and turn it in to enter our end-of-summer prize drawings!

The Library is Participating in ArtWalk!

Moab Library
The library will be showcasing the All-State High School Show, one of the Utah Arts and Humanities' traveling exhibits. The works selected for the exhibit illustrate the exceptional talent, diversity, originality, and creativity of Utah's young visual artists.

If you can't make it to the ArtWalk, the All State High School show will be on display at the library until June 11, 2019. For more information about the exhibit visit the Utah Division of Arts & Museums website.

Engineer and create simple machines using Legos, Knex, and a variety of blocks using gears, wheels, axles, levers, and pulleys.
Energy Scientists Club (Grades 3-12)

investigate the power of light, motion, and heat energy through experiments and activities, such as building a solar oven and using sun paper to make prints.

Little Free Library Bike Tour

Moab Library
Come along for a morning bike tour to visit some of Moab's little free libraries. Visit all the little libraries on our map for the chance to win a prize. After the ride we'll meet back at the library for refreshments and a prize drawing. Fun for all ages!
Library Closures
The library will be closed on Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day.
