The Avondale House 4th Annual Bingo Bash

We're excited to invite you to The Avondale House 4th Annual Bingo Bash! This unique event will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Junior League of Houston. Chaired by Tracy and Phil Jones and with Emcees Briana Conner and Adam Winkler of ABC13, this highly anticipated event is one you won't want to miss! Adding to the excitement of playing seven rounds of Bingo, all guests have a chance to win fun prizes throughout the evening, along with an opportunity to bid on and win fabulous auction items! 



The fun doesn't stop there! Sponsors choose their own table themes and dress according to the theme. Back by popular demand, our annual Best Dressed Table competition will take place, so be ready to dress to impress!

Thank you so much to Alex's 5K for their incredible support of Avondale House over the years. We are so grateful to be a part of honoring Alex and supporting this event each fall.

Our residential program participants have a fun calendar of activities planned for the summer, including dance parties, make-your-own-pizza nights, cupcake decorating, backyard BBQs, and more!

Bike to the Beach, the ride from Houston to Galveston, TX in support of individuals with autism and disABILITIES is happening on October 14, 2023! If you are interested in cycling 25, 50 or 100 miles with Team Avondale House, we'd love to have you join us this year and pedal for a purpose!

Are you interested in participating in the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon or the We Are Houston 5K in 2024? Registration is now open. The marathon weekend of events is happening on January 13 and 14, 2024. We'd love to have you on our team!

Congratulations to our June Team Member of the Month, Joann!

Joann is our Team Member of the Month, and serves as Direct Support for the adult day program. Joann has been with Avondale House for 34 years, faithfully serving our program participants! Her colleagues say that she is "constantly dependable and cares for the participants greatly". She is hardworking, reliable, and a valuable asset to our team. We're so thankful to have had her for all these years.
