Massena Martial Arts is a traditional Japanese school operated by Chief Instructor Sensei Steven Thibault. Our new Dojo is located at 88 Main St, Massena, NY.
Our students train and study martial arts in the traditional way, by learning together with respect and humility. While studying in the martial arts our students gain confidence, discipline, self-esteem, weight loss, coordination, better focus on studies, ability to properly defend oneself, and much more
At Massena Martial Arts we welcome all ages (4 and up). If interested in joining our school, we encourage you to observe or participate in a class at any time. We offer one free class participation, so come in and join us. See our class schedule for dates and times.
Fine-n-Dandy maple products is a family business that started with me and my boys constructing a log cabin sugarhouse in 1986. The sugar bush has 1,000 taps which produces in the neighborhood of 300 gallons of maple syrup.
We are modern but traditional at the same time. We use a vacuum and tubing system to bring the sap from the trees to the storage tanks at the sugarhouse. The water is removed from the sap in the traditional way by the process of boiling the sap.
The canned syrup, maple cream, maple sugar (candy), and maple coated walnuts are sold in local stores, the sugarhouse, our roadside stand, and Eisenhower Lock gift store.  I host open houses during NYS Maple Weekend a state-wide event and encourage visitors at all times. The products are available all year.
Portrait photography is one part of my business. I love to photograph kids, animals, families, and high school seniors as well as parties and events. The other part is a love of nature and landscape photography. I can decorate your home or office with YOUR interest in photos such as flowers, birds, sunsets, water scenes, etc. I also do framing and reconstruction of old photos. Local scenes are captured for displays in gift shops and art galleries in the area.
