Dear MMAMTA members,

My name is Renan Leme and I am honored to be your new president for the next two years and I am happy to have Dr. Peter Miyamoto as our Vice President.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a violinist originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I came to Columbia for my masters in violin performance at Mizzou and I graduated in 2018. I am currently an adjunct professor at Central Methodist University, the Director of the Missouri Youth Orchestra, I teach in my private studio, and I am the owner of Leme Ensemble.

I want to thank our immediate past president, Ayako Tsuruta, for everything she has done for our association during her presidency.
