June is a month with a meaningful array of national observances that align with our commitment to promoting health awareness and equity.
As an organization, we observed Juneteenth - a profound day celebrating freedom and the end of slavery in the United States. We also celebrate Pride Month, and proudly stand with the LGBTQIA+ community, advocating for equality, acceptance, and the overall health and well-being of all individuals, regardless of their backgrounds.
Men's Health Month is an especially important time to encourage all men to prioritize their physical and mental health. Finally, we recognize World Sickle Cell Day, Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, and Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month - all of which highlight the importance of raising awareness and support for those affected by these conditions.
I'm excited to share with you a number of updates and topics that reflect our commitment to the health and well-being of our community. Firstly, we're proud to announce the expansion of our A.C.C.E.S.S. program with the inclusion of a new diagnosis. This addition reflects our dedication to broadening the scope of support and ensuring that individuals have access resources.
In line with our goal to provide valuable information and support, we recently published new educational resources. These materials are designed to empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals with the knowledge they need to navigate complex health challenges.
We have also updated our patient policies as part of our continuous effort to improve patient care and ensure that our services are as effective, compliant, and accessible as possible.
Our organization relies on the generous input from those we serve to showcase the positive impact of our services. To earn our 2024 badge with Great Nonprofits, we invite you to leave us a review. Your feedback is invaluable and plays a crucial role in helping us enhance our services and reach more people in need.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Accessia Health community. Together, we continue to make strides toward a healthier, more equitable future.
With Gratitude,
