Enrich your life with us!

Issue 129

Greetings !

May was another busy month at HSS! We were excited to welcome Florence Carey from Manitoba Master Gardener Association to talk to us about container gardening. It was a wonderful afternoon and we learned you don’t need a lot of space to make things grow! For anyone that wants a handout of the information presented, one is available in the office. Mgmanitoba.com also has various resources available if you are looking for more tips to help your garden flourish.

We also began Grandfriends Outdoors at Bright Beginnings in May. This intergenerational program was developed in partnership with Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society and gives children and older adults the opportunity to bond in nature over shared experiences. We have a few more sessions remaining in June. For more information about this program or any of our upcoming programs or available resources, please contact us in the office!

Take care,

Kristie & Margo
