What's Up at The Warehouse!
June 2020 Newsletter
From the Executive Director: Donna Murray-Tiedge, MFA, Ph.D.

Hello Friends of The Warehouse,
Spring of 2020 has been a wild ride. As a nonessential business, we were shuttered due to Covid-19 from March 19th through May 25th. Today we release our June schedule and our first newsletter since reopening. Putting safety first is always a priority. As such, we planned and implemented a slow and careful reopening, taking time to adjust our facility per the CDC and Wisconsin Public Health standards of care. When you return to The Warehouse, you will notice floorplan changes and smaller class sizes to accommodate social distancing. Upon entering our facility, we ask you to use the sanitation stations we have set up at both front and back doors. We recognize the response to Covid-19 is ever-evolving and will continue to monitor multiple sources of information surrounding local cases, near and long-term trends, and guidance from local and national health officials. Whatever challenges lie ahead, this unprecedented pandemic has reinforced our belief in taking care of each other. Social distancing protects our physical health. Opportunities for creativity, joy, and reflection nurture our mental health. We understand everyone has their unique level of comfort surrounding reopening and returning to some level of connection with people outside your household. When you are ready to venture out of quarantine, we hope you will find refuge at The Warehouse. Thank you for all you are doing to support the re-entry response, whether it is maintaining social distance, volunteering, donating, or checking on those in seclusion. We are all in this together. Stay well, stay safe, and we hope to see you soon.
