I am excited to share this month's newsletter with you. So many great things are happening at Cascadia Tech Academy as well as in the Foundation.

This month we are highlighting Cascadia Tech Academy's General Advisory Committee Scholarship Winners as well as the Information Technology Program's E-Waste project.

Recently the Foundation hired a new Executive Director. We are excited to introduce Kristina Bauska to the Foundation.

She began working in the Foundation in October 2020 fulfilling many duties within the Foundation. But recently, we were able to hire her as our Executive Director.

Information Technology Program

Holds E-Waste Project

Cascadia Tech’s Information Technology students completed their annual Electronics and Styrofoam Recycling Event. Over the course of 2 days, they filled a storage unit with electronics from the community. We diverted over 3500 lbs. of electronics from the landfills and 2 vans full of Styrofoam.

General Advisory Committee Scholarship Winners

The Mission at Cascadia Tech Academy is to prepare each student with the relevant knowledge and skills for learning, career, and life.

This past month Cascadia Tech Academy held its annual General Advisory Committee scholarships.

14 students went through an interview process conducted by our General Advisory Committee for $15,500.00 in scholarship opportunities.

These scholarship opportunities are made possible by our Cascadia Tech Academy Foundation.
