It is with such pleasure and gratitude that I get to live and work in this wonderful community we call home! I am amazed at the number of so many great people that have worked countless hours to help our community stay alive and get through this really tough and challenging time.

It's difficult to fathom that another month has gone by and we are still in COVID-19 mode. It is good to see some progress being made and people back to work. I admire the creativity that businesses have taken to try and make it all work while keeping everyone safe at the same time. Summer is upon us, and it will certainly be a different one for sure with all the festivals, concerts, and 4th of July festivities canceled. We should all focus on keeping our families and community safe.

We will soon announce our new Board Members for 2020-2021. Although we will not have the customary awards banquet this year, we still plan to honor some people with the traditional Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year awards. Please send us your nominations. We will find a creative way to spotlight our very deserving winners. More to come!

Our Chamber office will open back up to the public with limited hours and staff beginning June 9th from 10am-2pm, Tuesday-Friday. We will follow all the social distancing protocol that has been put in place by the State and Lincoln County. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime if I can be of any assistance.
