A Modern Campaign for a Historical Cause
We have launched our first GoFundMe campaign for a historical reason—to purchase a plaque for our front yard to celebrate our clubhouse and its history. Now that the clubhouse is listed as a historic landmark at the national, state, and city levels, we want to let everyone know.

Dee Eva has begun the search for a vendor, and we are estimating the total costs for a high-quality plaque and secure mounting to be around $2,500.

Our deadline is June 30. A dedication ceremony is scheduled for the fall to mark the club and clubhouse anniversaries.

The clubhouse joins approximately 34 sites designated as historical landmarks in San Mateo County, including Menlo Park and Burlingame railroad stations, Filoli, Woodside Store, the Old Store at La Honda, Redwood City’s Union Cemetery, and Lathrop House. The Lathrop House was owned for a time by an early club member, Alice Mansfield, and her husband, Joel.
