We’re Listening: Help Us Make Madison Library More Accessible

Madison Library is proud to be a recipient of the American Library Association’s Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities Grant for $10,000! With this support, we’ll be improving accessibility at both our main entrance and the Chick Meeting Room entrance for individuals with mobility-related disabilities.

But this is just the beginning – and we want your input.

Join us for a Community Conversation on Wednesday, June 18, from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Chick Meeting Room. We want to hear about your experiences at the library and how we can make our building, events, and materials more accessible and welcoming for everyone.

If you’re unable to attend, we still want to hear from you! Please stop by the desk or give us a call to share your thoughts and ideas.

The Conway Public Library offers access to both The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times through their website using your

Madison Library card.

Go to Conway Public Library’s website, click on the Online Library drop down menu and select the newspaper of your choice and

follow the instructions.

Thank you Conway Public Library!

Join us for popcorn, dinner and a movie (for grown ups!!). Please bring an item to share (dinner or dessert), but not mandatory to attend.

Madison Book Group

Join your friends and neighbors Tuesday, June 24 at 7 pm to discuss Vanderbilt: The rise and fall of an American dynasty by Anderson Cooper and Katherine Howe. Come in and grab a book today! We will meet both Zoom and in person.

Click HERE to see the list of books chosen for 2025!

Near or far, all are welcome!
