We announced SOS Support Oglesby School, Inc as the recipient of our 2024 Community Grant! At our May meeting, we awarded SOS the $1,000 grant. Memorial day weekend, WAO volunteers went out to Memorial Park to clean up the monuments in preparation for the Oglesby American Legion's Memorial Day Service. | |
At the conclusion of the Memorial Day ceremony, WAO was honored to dedicate a new bench in Memorial Park to Wayne and Elaine Lance who were instrumental in helping us collect 500 pounds of plastic bags for a recycling program to receive the Trex bench. The new bench is located overlooking the first baseline of the softball field, Elaine's chosen spot. | | |

Archway Tap
Archway Tap has been a cherished icon in Oglesby for many years, providing a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike. In May 2023, the bar entered a new chapter under new ownership, continuing its tradition of great drinks and even better company. At Archway Tap, we’re all about fostering a fun and friendly atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
We love to offer our patrons fantastic deals throughout the week. On Tuesdays, you can enjoy $2.50 domestics and $2 Busch Lights, perfect for a midweek treat. Fridays are even more special with our Happy Hour from 4-6 PM, featuring $2.50 domestic bottles. Whether you're winding down after a long week or gearing up for the weekend, our specials are the perfect excuse to gather with friends, play some darts, try your luck on our machines, and enjoy the friendly service from our amazing bartenders.
We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years. We love being involved in local events and activities, fostering a sense of camaraderie among our patrons. One of the highlights of our community engagement is the upcoming Inaugural Trifecta Charity Golf Outing. We're excited to team up with Garzanelli’s Supper Club and Smitty’s Bar and Grill for this special event on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Stay tuned for more details as we plan a day filled with fun, competition, and charity.
