We nailed it. We never like to brag but we are proud when we call things as they are. Last month we suggested that May was going to get busier, especially for sellers that had a nice property that was well priced, and for buyers that were ready to pounce. In the month of May and into June we have seen that much needed uptick in the local market. Some iconic luxury properties selling to savvy high net worth buyers and homes that were well taken care of, and well marketed + smartly priced by solid realtors. I see June continuing, as the summer brings a wave of tourists that are staying within Canada this year, and with the relaxing of more short-term rentals rules here in BC. Finally, a busy, normal summer ahead? I won't predict that just yet but I am here at the ready and as always, hopeful. Reach out if you plan to visit and let's meet up.
