Community Enhancement & Investment Fund

Fostering a Beautiful and Creative Community


The City of Rancho Cordova is dedicated to fostering community pride and redefining public spaces with beautiful and unique art in partnership with local and regional artists. Since 2021, more than 50 traffic signal and utility boxes have been wrapped with colorful and vibrant works of art. This project was made possible through funding from the Community Enhancement & Investment Fund.

Public Works for You

Construction on Sunrise Boulevard


The city is currently rehabilitating Sunrise Boulevard from White Rock Road to Douglas Road. As part of project construction, there will be single-lane closures from Douglas Boulevard to Monier Circle from 6 AM – 2 PM for the next two weeks. Please plan for additional travel time, and travel through the area with caution.

Animal Services Welcomes Donations


Help lost, stray and wild animals stay safe and comfortable while in care by donating clean towels or blankets and new pet items to the city's Animal Services Division. Drop off donations during business hours at 2880 Gold Tailings Court, or purchase and donate supplies online.

RCPD Detains Retail Theft Subject


RCPD was dispatched to a theft that had occurred at a large retail business in which a suspect fled with a shopping cart full of high value tools. RCPD officers were able to detail the subject after a short foot pursuit.

Join the Fall 2025 Rancho Cordova Police Department Citizen's Academy! The program features an 11-week course to provide residents with information about the police department and its proactive policing programs, as well as tools and resources residents can use to help prevent crime. Micro Masterpieces Auction Now Open


Micro Masterpieces is Rancho Cordova Arts' annual fundraiser to provide new art supplies to kindergarten -12th grade students in all schools and classrooms in the city. In 2024, 114 teachers in 17 schools were given the materials to teach, engage, and promote creativity and learning through the visual arts.
