Advisory Board Update
Jill Teeter is no longer with CASA Trinity. Jenna Layton, Stephanie Ferraro along with Christina
have taken on the work of the Coordinator’s position.
The Advisory Board met and agreed to develop some type of tool that would help all members to “voice what we do at the Coalition”.

Please vote on which "elevator speech" would be the best via the survey monkey below. The one with the most votes will be sent to production.

A new binder is being created for all members that will contain all necessary information to help support the mission and vision of the coalition.

Work Group Report Out
T.E.A.M. Youth
Our partnership with the VFW for the Tioga County Kids Picnic is in full swing! The event is coming up quickly on J ULY 20th from 12pm-4pm at Marvin Park and we still need help!

The VFW has a goal to raffle off 20 bikes for FREE during the picnic. They currently have enough money for 5-7 ride on toys/bikes.
One way you can DO ONE THING would be to donate towards the purchase of a bike from the coalition.

There are hundreds of kids that attend this event, let's make it so as many as possible can walk away with a new bike!!

Checks can be made to CASA-Trinity INC. and sent to 72 North Ave Owego NY with Tioga County ASAP bike donation in the memo line.

We have some new billboards up around Tioga County for the summer! When you're driving around look around and try to spot them!

Stephanie will remain as chair of the Opioid Workgroup. She reached out to Owego Pharmacy to partner with us a few projects. John Gatto will voice a video on prescription safety for You Tube and our website.

There are now FREE medication bag disposal sites throughout Tioga County. We partnered with libraries, pharmacies and other local establishments to house containers with free disposal bags for the public.

Soon it will b e time to start planning for International Overdose Awareness Day and the vigil on August 30th.
The Data Workgroup really needs a chair!

This is a great position for someone who is looking to add community outreach experience to their resume' and who wants to help steer the ship when planning and implementing work plans.
The main task for the chair will be to help distribute the parent surveys this fall and to recruit members for Key Informant Interviews.
