Brighten, modernize and expand … all while keeping the original footprint. This was the design and remodel mission for our North Potomac client’s cherished kitchen space, the true heart of their home.

Valuable kitchen height was regained and overall spaciousness achieved by removing the kitchen’s outdated drop ceiling. Modern recessed and stylish pendant lighting were installed and play well off the space’s existing natural light sources. 

The oversized island lends itself to extensive food preparation that goes into any holiday gathering and doubles well as a work and/or intimate dining space.

The appliance cabinet keeps small appliances neatly tucked away while remaining fully functional with internal outlets. The large 36” all electric gourmet range with double convection ovens easily handles entertaining with multi-course meals. The microwave drawer with concealed control panel allows for more emphasis on this kitchen’s design highlights such as the Grey Splendours backsplash tile and the stainless-steel range hood. LVP flooring ties the entire design together with its ease of clean-up and modern feel.
