Summer is finally here!

Summer staff has been here for several weeks getting to know each other and the theme for the summer.

Sunday the first campers arrived in the valley to start off our summer camp season. Looking forward to what the rest of the summer will bring.

DETOUR

Please be aware when you are coming to Sugar Creek this summer, HWY 35, also known as the River Road, is detoured between Genoa and De Soto. There are two main detour options: take HWY 14 through Viroqua, turn right on HWY 27, go through Rising Sun, and finally right onto CTY HWY C or take HWY 14 west across the bridge to Minnesota, HWY 16 to HWY 26 south through New Albin, at Lansing cross the HWY 82 bridge back into Wisconsin, turn right onto HWY 35, go through Ferryville and left on HWY C to Sugar Creek. Both of these options will add some time to your trip. Please plan accordingly.

Family Camp also has several lodging options available for each of the three sessions: July 5-8, August 7-10, and August 11-14.

Check out the beautiful flowers that our garden volunteers have been tending all spring. The colors are really starting to flourish. Some of our wonderful volunteers have been putting in hours all over camp to keep our flower boxes bright throughout the summer. Keep your eyes open as you hike through the valley.

Ark Encounter and Nashville Bus Trip

Join Sugar Creek Bible Camp on this exciting journey August 26 through September 1, 2022.

There are many stops along the way. The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY will awe you with a full size ark. You will enjoy a tour of the Lexington, KY area with its many horse farms. Opryland Hotel will be your home base in Nashville. While there you will see the Country Music Hall of Fame, Legends, Lunch & Lyrics, a guided tour that will take you down Music Row, the Capitol and Parthenon. A backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry and the General Jackson Showboat Luncheon Cruise will cap off your stay. On the bus ride home you will stop in Springfield, IL to visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum as well as Lincoln's Home. Sign up soon!

Tulip Festival in Holland, MI

A great time was had attending the Sugar Creek bus trip to Holland , MI. The many sights and sounds of the Tulip Festival will be remembered and enjoyed for a long time to come. Thousands of tulip bulbs, a working windmill, several concerts and a guided tour were a few of the highlights.
